Clare Hirn holds a Masters in painting and drawing from the New York Academy of Art. While living in New York City, she also painted for a mural design firm where she learned the art of working large scale. Today, her fine art murals are painted on canvas and can be applied to walls to enhance any interior, private or public.


     Art and landscape are parts of our lives, everywhere we look and turn. At Clare Hirn Studio I feel passionately about bringing the beauty of the outside to our lives inside, translating the natural world onto canvas. Fine art work and scenic wall murals add dimension to any home, office, or corporate interior and allow for personalized expression.

     At Clare Hirn Studio in Louisville, Kentucky, I take pride in working with my clients to understand individual needs and understanding how to treat their interior spaces. My murals are painted on canvas and installed as you would fine wallpaper, thus allowing for relocating the mural if required. I use high quality products to create murals with many layers of color to produce effects ranging from calming to bright and vivid. Layering the paint also creates beautiful transparencies that allow the painting to “breathe” and to open the space where it is installed.

     Each painting or mural is original and one-of-a-kind. Colors, themes and sizes can be customized to any specification.
